Emmett's Birthday Party

So we had Emmett's birthday party over the weekend and he was acting like such a loner! For some reason all the kids, except him, were hanging out by the picnic table and not playing on the playground. I have all these pictures of just him on the playground by himself. It was so sad.

Then when we tried to sing happy birthday to him he was not happy. He gets self-conscious and does not like being the center of attention and so he started throwing a little tantrum and then just started crying (I can't find the cable to download my pictures otherwise I'd post one). Maybe next year we'll just stick to blowing out the candles.
